Your temporary member ID card arrives first. It includes: - Your name.
- Your member number.
- The type of plan you have.
- The date your coverage started.
- TPL “Yes” or “No.” This shows if you have other insurance coverage or another third-party is responsible to pay for your healthcare services before we pay.
Your permanent member ID card is sent a few weeks after you receive your temporary card. It has the same information as your temporary card, PLUS the name and phone number of your primary care provider. Please use your permanent ID card when you receive it.
