Making Health Care Better For You
Since 1994, AlohaCare has worked hard to ensure all Hawai‘i residents have access to high quality health care. Today we continue that commitment through our health plans: QUEST Integration (Medicaid) and AlohaCare Advantage Plus (a Medicare HMO SNP). AlohaCare also supports our communities by collaborating with partners and funding programs to assist our members throughout the state.
AlohaCare provides comprehensive medical coverage and then goes beyond the medical setting to support you. We call this whole person care. Providing whole person care means we find ways to support you with other issues that affect your health. This can be things like making sure you have food to eat; a safe place to live; or emotional and social support.
We believe in culturally responsive care. This means we listen and learn about the health beliefs, practices, and cultural and language needs of our communities. Then we partner with community providers to create benefits and services that meet the diverse needs of our members.
- 24 Hour Pharmacy Customer Service & Medicine Delivered to Your Door
We have a wide variety of pharmacy services to help you stay healthy. This includes getting a 90-day supply of the medicine you take regularly mailed to your home.
- Support in Your Neighborhood
AlohaCare’s health coordination team can assist you with managing your health. They live in your neighborhood and have the knowledge and tools to support your care.
- AlohaCare Telehealth Connect
AlohaCare Telehealth Connect allows you to visit with a health provider on your own schedule, 24/7. Video visits give you care anytime, anywhere using your smartphone, tablet or computer with a webcam.
Through a program called Unite Hawai`i, our team works with community partners to coordinate non-medical services. Services offered include housing assistance; individual and family support; clothing and household goods; employment; and more.
- Building Healthy Communities
We award college scholarships statewide and support food distributions. Our community grants program, Imua Loa (go forward in health and well-being), funds organizations doing profound work for the health of their communities.
